Things that make you go hmm...

Arsenio Hall used to do a bit on his show way, way back in the late eighties/early nineties called "Things that make you go hmm..." (according to Wikipedia, the C+C Music Factory song was inspired by this...and I thought it was the other way around!)

Here's one to ponder. It's been bugging me for some time now. Trader Joe's has these cookies (and they're awesome) called "Cats Cookies". Here is a tub of them, so you can see what they look like.

Even closer - here is an actual cookie so you can see what it looks like. Note the feline shape, hence the name "Cats Cookies".

Obviously at one point in time, someone must have tried to feed them to a cat. That's the only explanation for the small print below:

CATS COOKIES..............For People.

Whaa? Why? Why do they have to put that small disclaimer on there? Hmm...

It kind of reminds me of this hilarious, yet somewhat disturbing SNL commercial from a few years back:
