My goal this summer is to do one little fun thing everyday with the kids and document it. We started summer vacation off yesterday with this, a paper cup version of the tin can telephone. It was fun to explain to a six-year-old who has only known cell phones and cordless land lines how the first telephones worked, and how you need to to keep the line nice and taut so you can "talk" to each other.
Today - we had an indoor picnic lunch when it was raining outside. Luckily, it cleared up shortly afterwards.
