Only seven more days!
We got to see Santa today - the Clive Fire Department brought one of its trucks through the neighborhood with Santa. We were coming home and saw the flashing lights, so we followed them until they stopped. Alex got to tell Santa he wanted the Imaginext Green Lantern toy. All was good!

Today's version included an annual checkup with:
Five vaccinations
Four Thomas stickers
Three cups of ice cream
Two sympathy suckers
And a flu shot for my buddy!

Bbbrrr-teen days until Christmas!
Someone wanted to play outside today in the subzero temps...he lasted 10 minutes, which is 9 minutes longer than I would have lasted!

St. Nicholas Day
Nineteen days until Christmas, and St. Nicholas brought Alex a magic helper to make sure he was being a good boy! Alex named his special elf "Legos" and will be sure to see where he ends up every morning!
